Founded by aviation enthusiasts Luke Dale and Andrew Blundell, Cloud9 Aviation Detailing is built on their deep personal knowledge of flying and aircraft care. Luke Dale, Managing Director, has over 1,000 hours in powered and glider flight, including gliding over Mount Cook in New Zealand at 23,000 ft and competing with the British Team at two World Championship events. With 14 years in the aviation industry, Luke has held key positions such as Commercial Manager at an MRO, Operations Manager at Cloud9 Covers, and multiple flight instructor roles. His insights into the operational demands of commercial aircraft enable Cloud9 to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with shifting deadlines.

Andrew Blundell, Financial Director, also brings hands-on gliding and powered flying experience. His background, which includes founding Cloud9 Covers in 2006 and working with industry giants like Boeing and numerous major airlines and operators, has provided invaluable experience in the aviation sector.

Luke and Andrew lead a dedicated team of aircraft detailers who are fully trained, self-sufficient, and mobile. Our teams are available 24/7 at any FBO, MRO, airport, or airfield throughout the UK and Europe. We cater to all aircraft types, from single-engine planes and helicopters to business jets and commercial airliners. We are fully insured, use only Aviation Approved products, and uphold the highest industry standards.
